Pampered Stew



You need:
  • 3 cups well-rinsed rice (or quinoa, oats)
  • about 1/2 of a small yellow onion - diced
  • about 1 lb. boneless turkey (or boneless chicken, pork, beef) chopped into small cubes (1 inch or less) or ground it.
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • finely chopped broccoli and grated carrots (and whatever veggies they like)

Cook the rice. While rice is cooking, cook diced onion with garlic and ground (or diced) turkey for about 5 minutes or so with a teaspoon of light olive oil. Then add broccoli and carrots. After everything is cooked, put it all together and stir. Every now and then, you may also add a little avocado (finely chopped) and/or powered dog vitamins and/or a fresh raw egg. You may freeze the stew for later.
